Causes of Ankle Sprain/Strain

The most common type of ankle sprain is due to an inversion type injury, meaning the foot rolls inward too far.  During the rolling motion, the load capacity of the ankle's muscles and ligaments are exceeded. The end result is pain and swelling around the ankle and sight of injury.


We can identify the grade of the injury and then proceed with the right course of care. With chiropractic care, we can cut down the recovery time, rehabilitate the ankle, identify the potential cause and strengthen the ankle to prevent future injuries.
